Aspect particle 过 (guo) - Past experience

Meaning: Have done

Pattern

Subject + Verb + 过 + Object

Usage

Placed after a verb to emphasize an experience that happened in the past.

Examples

Tāmen lái guo wǒ jiā.
They have been to my house.

我看过那个电影。
Wǒ kàn guo nàge diànyǐng.
I have seen that movie.

Notes

Negative form must use 没 or 没有.
