Usage

• Placed at the end of a declarative sentence to enhance the affirmative tone.

Examples

   八点上课，时间还早呢。

   Bā diǎn shàngkè, shíjiān hái zǎo ne.

   Class starts at eight, it's still early.

2. 2

   医院离我们这儿还远呢。

   Yīyuàn lí wǒmen zhèr hái yuǎn ne.

   The hospital is still far from here.
