如何 (rúhé) – how, in what way

• 如何 + Verb（＝怎么）
• Noun + 如何？（＝怎么样）

Usage

• A written interrogative: before a verb it asks about manner (= 怎么); at the end of a sentence it asks about a situation or for an opinion (= 怎么样).

Examples

   明天开会讨论这个问题该如何解决。

   Míngtiān kāihuì tǎolùn zhège wèntí gāi rúhé jiějué.

   Tomorrow's meeting will discuss how this problem should be solved.

   你觉得这个方案如何？

   Nǐ juéde zhège fāng'àn rúhé?

   What do you think of this plan?
