Usage

• A prepositional frame naming the person or thing from whose standpoint something is judged; the main clause usually comments on how important, hard or beneficial it is for them.

Examples

   对一个人来说，最重要的是健康和快乐。

   Duì yí gè rén láishuō, zuì zhòngyào de shì jiànkāng hé kuàilè.

   For a person, what matters most is health and happiness.

2. 2

   学汉语对欧美留学生来说可能有点儿难。

   Xué Hànyǔ duì Ōu-Měi liúxuéshēng láishuō kěnéng yǒudiǎnr nán.

   Learning Chinese may be a bit difficult for students from Europe and America.
