•When the object is a personal pronoun, the duration/frequency complement comes AFTER the pronoun.
⚠️ Common Mistakes:
•Putting 了 after the duration complement instead of right after the verb: WRONG 我学三年了汉语 → RIGHT 我学了三年汉语.
•Putting the duration before a pronoun object: WRONG 我等半个小时了他 → RIGHT 我等了他半个小时.
