•Place 所 after the agent and immediately before a transitive verb (Agent + 所 + V + 的); never use an intransitive verb after 所 (e.g., *所来的人 is wrong) and never omit the final 的.
⚠️ Common Mistakes:
•Omitting 所 in formal prose ("这是我期待的结果" is grammatical but lacks the elevated formal emphasis of "这是我所期待的结果").
•Misplacing 所 before the agent (*这是所我期待的 is wrong — must be 这是我所期待的).
•Using an intransitive verb after 所 (*所来的人 is wrong because 来 has no patient object).
•Forgetting the final particle 的 at the end of the 是…所…的 frame.
