Result Complements (结果补语) with 完, 见, 到, 懂, 错

Pattern

• Subject + Verb + Result Complement (完/见/到/懂/错) + (Object) + (了)
• Negative: Subject + 没(有) + Verb + Result Complement

Usage

• Some verbs or adjectives immediately follow the main verb to complement it, indicating the achieved result of the action.
• The five core result complements in HSK 2 are: 完 (finish), 见 (see), 到 (achieve/arrive), 懂 (understand), 错 (mistake).
