My day

每天早上我8点起床。

Měi tiān zǎo shàng wǒ 8 diǎn qǐ chuáng.

I get up at 8 o'clock every morning.

然后我去洗澡间洗个澡。

Rán hòu wǒ qù xǐ zǎo jiān xǐ gè zǎo.

Then I went to the bathroom and took a shower.

我洗脸，刷牙，梳头。

Wǒ xǐ liǎn, shuā yá, shū tóu.

I wash my face, brush my teeth, and comb my hair.

我化一点妆。

Wǒ huà yì diǎn zhuāng.

I put on a little makeup.

我给一家人做早餐。

Wǒ gěi yī jiā rén zuò zǎo cān.

I make breakfast for the family.

我下楼吃早饭。

Wǒ xià lóu chī zǎo fàn.

I go downstairs to have breakfast.

我边吃早饭边看报纸。

Wǒ biān chī zǎo fàn biān kàn bào zhǐ.

I read the newspaper while eating breakfast.

我叫醒我妹妹。

Wǒ jiào xǐng wǒ mèi mèi.

I wake up my sister.

我给我妹妹穿衣服，洗脸洗手。

Wǒ gěi wǒ mèi mèi chuān yī fú, xǐ liǎn xǐ shǒu.

I dressed my sister and washed her face and hands.

我十点半到办公室。

Wǒ shí diǎn bàn dào bàn gōng shì.

I arrive at the office at half past ten.

我七点离开办公室。

Wǒ qī diǎn lí kāi bàn gōng shì.

I leave the office at seven o'clock.

我每天上午八点到办公室，五点半下班。

Wǒ měi tiān shàng wǔ bā diǎn dào bàn gōng shì, wǔ diǎn bàn xià bān.

I arrive at the office at eight o'clock every morning and get off work at five-thirty.

我回家路上买些吃的。

Wǒ huí jiā lù shàng mǎi xiē chī de.

I bought some food on the way home.

我到学校接妹妹。

Wǒ dào xué xiào jiē mèi mèi.

I went to pick up my sister from school.

我们十点半睡觉。

Wǒ men shí diǎn bàn shuì jiào.

We go to bed at half past ten.
