反正 (fǎnzhèng) – anyway, in any case

Pattern

• 不管 / 无论 + Condition，反正 + Conclusion
• 反正 + Fact，Clause

Usage

• (1) Says the result is the same whatever the circumstances, often with 不管 / 无论; (2) states an obvious reason as grounds for a decision.

Examples

1. 1

   不管你们谁去，反正我不去。

   Bùguǎn nǐmen shéi qù, fǎnzhèng wǒ bú qù.

   Whoever of you goes, I'm not going anyway.

2. 2

   反正时间还早，我们走着去吧。

   Fǎnzhèng shíjiān hái zǎo, wǒmen zǒu zhe qù ba.

   It's still early anyway, so let's walk there.
