Usage

• 反正 means "anyway / in any case / since... anyway".
• It expresses either: (1) that the speaker's decision or the outcome will not change regardless of external factors (often paired with 不管 or 无论 in the preceding clause, e.g., 不管下不下雨，反正我都要去), or (2) a reason that justifies a relaxed attitude or action ("since it's the case anyway", e.g., 反正时间还早，我们慢慢走吧).
• 反正 is placed either before the subject at the start of a clause or immediately after the subject.
• Distinguish 反正 (subjective, colloquial "anyway") from 总之 (objective, logical summary "in short / in conclusion").

   反正我已经决定了，谁说也没用。

   Fǎnzhèng wǒ yǐjīng juédìng le, shéi shuō yě méi yòng.

   Anyway, I have already decided; no matter who says what, it's useless.

   不管下不下雨，反正我都要去。

   Bùguǎn xià bù xià yǔ, fǎnzhèng wǒ dōu yào qù.

   Whether it rains or not, I am going anyway.

   Since it's still early anyway, let's walk slowly.
