Meaning: Measure word for family members

Numeral + 口 + 人

Usage

Specifically used as a measure word to count the number of members or people in a family.

Examples

There are four people in my family.

Notes

Unlike 个人 (which counts people in general), 口人 is specifically preferred when referring to the number of members in a family.
