A resultant complement directly follows the verb without anything inserted between them to indicate the outcome of the action. Common complements include 完 (finish), 好 (ready/properly done), 错 (wrong), 对 (correct), 清楚 (clear), 见 (perceived). The negative form uses '没(有)' before the verb and drops '了'.
The resultant complement '到' indicates reaching a specific destination/time (e.g. 呆到十点, 回到家) or successfully achieving the intended purpose of the action (e.g. 买到票, 找到).
The resultant complement '住' indicates that through the action, something is held firmly, fixed into position, or preserved in memory (e.g. 记住 - remember firmly, 停住 - come to a stop, 站住 - halt).
Connects two consecutive events happening immediately one after the other, or expresses a conditional relationship where action 2 happens whenever condition 1 is met.
