The aspect particle '着' placed after a verb indicates the continuation of an action or the ongoing static state resulting from an action. The negative form is '没(有)……着', and affirmative-negative question is '……着没有?'.
When two verbs appear together and V1 takes '着', V1 indicates the accompanying posture, state, or manner in which the main action V2 is carried out.
The structural particle '地' connects an adjective modifier or adverbial phrase to the verb to describe the manner or attitude of the action. Disyllabic and reduplicated adjectives usually require '地'.
Reduplicating adjectives deepens their degree and conveys vivid descriptive imagery. Disyllabic adjectives become AABB (整整齐齐, 漂漂亮亮), while monosyllabic ones become AA (早早儿, 大大).
